Adventure awaits
I boarded my first airplane at the age of thirteen, and was immediately hooked. A few hours in the air can reset to a whole new world, with unknown adventure. In an epic world where you can thoughtfully connect with community, wildlife and our beautiful, fascinating and ever-changing planet, I balance a linear career path I love with the opportunities to always take the adventure.
The racing heartbeat and the joy of abandon when living in the moment. It’s what keeps me returning to the well of new experience and discovery. Perhaps the Greek philosopher Aesop said it best…
“Adventure is worthwhile”.
Aesop said it best – ‘Adventure is worthwhile’. Wouldn’t you agree?

Adventure, worthwhile
Taking the first step
“A journey is a person in itself; no two are alike. And all plans, safeguards, policing, and coercion are fruitless. We find that after years of struggle that we do not take a trip; a trip takes us”. – John Steinbeck
This blog is my first step on my journey to organize and share my collection of personal travel stories, experiences and memories that have moved me, and made me consider deeply how I may be a better human.
A very important someone with whom I have had sincere joy over many years to explore treasured destinations – asked me to write a book to recount my adventures, and share a bit more how travel has been a loyal companion, and continues to teach me much.
Travel has the power to engage, inspire, entertain, and fill the gaps of uncertainty and inexperience. And, if travel is done well, it’s influence can sustain you through the more challenging times in the years that follow, hold up your moral compass in time of need, and inform your conscious behaviour to consider your impact and want to be a better human.
Travel is an unexplained, visceral need for many, and most certainly, a teacher of all. While this blog is not yet a book, it is – indeed – a glimpse into some of my favourite chapters.
Thank you for joining the adventure.
